Description
A 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury, beatiful red acrylic lacquer paint. Custom interior with aluminum door panels and aluminum rear fire wall. Black carpeted floor pan and NHRA approved race seat and 5 point harness. Meets all NHRA tech requirements. Customized gauge panel cluster manufactured by myself to accomodate the autometer gauges. Black lacquer dash with polished aluminum control switch panel. The car was purchased in 1990 as a rolling chassis (a "rust bucket"). It was completely dismantled and I glass beaded the fire wall and all door jambs. All body parts painted separately. All of this work was done by myself. The car was completely restored using parts from a parts car that was purchased as well as fabrication of some parts myself. All work was completed in 1993. Since then, it has been raced 3 times at the LACR drag strip with a total of not more than 10 hours on the engine. The car was raced by myself. The car is currently in race ready condition and covered with a car cover and stored in my garage.
History
Production was done by myself over a 3 year period from 1990-1993. Was raced 3 times in 1993 and 1994. The races run were for the purpose of dialing it in and the potential for future racing is greater than what I was able to run it at due to my schedule and time limitations.
